Franciscana, based in the Sunset District of San Francisco, is an indie rock band, combining folk and Americana roots with modern indie rock stylings to create a unique and electric sound featuring three-part harmonies, deep-pocket rhythm section grooves, and lush instrumentation.

Franciscana, formed by former members of Montgomery Station and Middle Class Murder, draws from an extensive combined discography of five LPs and an EP. Their music spans over a decade of life experiences and reflects on love, friendship, heartbreak, and hope. They have played local venues, bars, festivals (including a non-profit fundraiser here and there), and have taken their bardic inspiration on the road, heading down through the southwest and over to Texas, even making appearances at SXSW.
